Personal Data. Any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject); an identifiable natural person is a person whose identity can be determined directly or indirectly, in particular by an identifier such as a name and surname, a personal identification number, location data and an Internet identifier, or by one or more characteristics of that natural person's physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
Profiling of Personal Data. Any form of automated processing of personal data in order to assess certain characteristics related to the Customer, such as the Customer's travel habits, behaviour, travel destination, etc.
Processing of Personal Data. Any operation or sequence of operations performed by automated or non-automated means on Personal Data or sets of Personal Data, such as collection, recording, sorting, systematisation, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, access, use, disclosure by transfer, distribution or otherwise access to them, as well as aggregation or combination with other data, restriction, deletion or destruction.
Personal Offers. Offers tailored to the Customer, generated by automated means based on the Customer's behaviour, the history of services rendered and providing thereto with additional benefits.
GDPR. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
CO₂. Carbon footprint, which indicates the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere by the Carrier's activities and/or other sources that emit them.
Customer. A natural person who intends to start using or uses the services provided by the Carrier.
Discount Coupon. A special coupon containing a combination of letters or numbers that allows to purchase the Carrier's services at a discount. Discount coupons have a limited validity period, which is indicated each time together with the discount coupon sent to the member of the Sustainable Travel Club program.
Sustainable Travel Club member account or Account. The form filled out by the Customer with personal data on the Carrier's website and confirmed with mandatory consents. The Customer can manage his/her personal data, consents in the Account, as well as see received fees and additional information about the proposed Sustainable Travel Club program.
Sustainable Travel Club program points or Points. Points for traveled train kilometres collected during the Sustainable Travel Club program and/or additional points assigned by the Carrier which are provided as a Personal Offer.
Sustainable Travel Club program or Program. A special program operated by the Carrier that entitles members of the Sustainable Travel Club program to take advantage of the special offers and discounts described in these rules when traveling on the Carrier's trains.
Sustainable Travel Club program member or Member. Customers of the Carrier who have created a personal Sustainable Travel Club account on the Carrier's website and have agreed to the terms and conditions of the Program offered by the Carrier.
Carrier. A licenced company (legal entity, other organisation, division of a legal entity, other organisation) the activity of which is to provide passenger and baggage transportation services by rail on local and/or international routes and/or combined passenger transportation services on local routes and ensure traction, as well as a company (legal entity, other organisation, division of a legal entity, other organisation) that provides only traction.
Other terms used in these Rules shall be understood as they are defined in the Republic of Lithuania Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data and in the Carrier's general passenger transport rules, which are published on the Carrier's website at www.ltglink.lt.
